Scent Work/Nosework Group Classes
We strongly recommend you do not feed your dog before class time! In many of these classes our rate of reinforcement with food will be quite high so we don’t want the dogs to have eaten before class and feel full near the beginning of class. We also recommend you use a portion of your dog’s meal or feed your dog less for their meal around class time as they will be taking in a lot of calories during class with the high rate of reinforcement. Any questions feel free to ask us!
Note about group classes: we recommend if you are not a current training client to schedule a training consultation before registering for a group class. If your dog is reactive we require a consultation before registering to ensure we place your dog in a class where they we will be most successful. Classes maybe rescheduled due to heat or other conditions, if you cannot make the rescheduled date (same day of week and time) there is no refund or alternative make up class option. We do not offer makeup classes.
Standard Cancellation Policy: All group classes and workshops/events require payment for you to hold your spot. If you pull from a class and we can fill your spot, we can offer you a refund (minus a 5% processing fee). If you decide to pull from a group class and we cannot fill your spot we cannot offer you a refund (this includes “accidental” bookings!!). If you enroll in a group class or drop in and choose to pay the day of class and then do not show you will be sent an invoice.
Pre-registration is required for drop in classes.
PLEASE NOTE: TURF CLEAN UP FEE
We spent a lot of money on this brand new turf!
Please treat it as if it were your own house and do not allow your dog to use the bathroom on it.
If your dog goes to the bathroom on the turf, you will be charged a $20 clean up fee.
Some tips to avoid accidents:
When you are receiving feedback or instructions from your trainer, put them in a stationary position like a sit or down stay
When your dog is not actively working; stay actively engaged with them or put them on a place mat/bed or in a crate
If your dog is prone to marking take them outside before or after each turn
Failure to pay the $20 clean up fee results in inability to continue using services here this includes: group classes, private lessons, etc. No refunds will be issued.

If your appointment says TURF ARENA on it then you will enter through DOOR 2. On the far left side of the building.
If your appointment says RUBBER ARENA on it then you will enter through DOOR 1. This is the entrance we have always used in the past.

Classes with April are $185 ($180 if pay by cash or check), classes with Maureen CNWI are $205 ($200 if pay by cash or check). These are 6 week sessions.
Tuesdays with April
11AM - 1 spot open - for dogs on paired or unpaired odor
6:15PM - FULL!
**if your dog is on unpaired odor and you are interested in working on teaching or reinforcing your dog’s final alert behavior these classes are perfect for that!
Thursdays with Maureen CNWI - Starting 01/23, 6 weeks
2:30PM-4:00PM (90 minute class, limit 9 dogs) - FULL!
Saturdays with Maureen CNWI - Starting 01/04, 6 weeks (NO class 01/11, 01/18 & 02/15)
1PM - Open to dogs of all levels (including brand new dogs) - Openings - email us!
2PM - Open to brand new dogs - Openings - email us!

Thursdays Starting January 9th
ALERT! Training a Trained Final Response!
4 week group class, limit 6 dogs, $155/dog
7-8PM: This class is for dogs who are already on odor and are looking to teach or fine tune their trained final response! Dogs will work one at a time in the building during this class (we will be in the wellness space), so please come prepared to work your dog out of the car. There WILL be homework in this class so please come prepared to do your homework in order to get the most out of this class!
What to Bring: Bring whatever reinforcements you use for your dog (can be food, toys, or both!). We will be doing searches on and off leash so be prepared for both!
Prerequisite: Dogs should be on odor.
