About The Pool and Dock
We put in an outdoor seasonal 32’ x 16’ saltwater pool for the dogs! It includes an 8’ x 20’ dock with turf as well as a no-slip, extra wide ramp. It is located inside a secured fenced yard. This pool is a perfect first pool for us as we are able to offer swimming lessons and rentals as well as dock diving lessons and rentals. We can practice a short course speed retrieve/hydrodash. We currently do not have an EV rig anymore, but we may add one! We have a hose outside near the pool (cold water only) that can be used to rinse your dog if needed, but with the saltwater you may find there is no need to!
What To Bring
We have some life vests available for dogs but to ensure you have one that fits your dog we recommend you bring your own.
We ask you bring your own towels to dry off your dog as we do not have any available for use.
We also ask you bring your own toys (we do supply the bumpers for SR/HD - please note destruction of any of our supplied toys during these disciplines will incur a $20 charge). The toy should be float-able! If you need recommendations please let us know.
Pool Rules/Waiver/Cancellation Policy
We ask you review the pool rules and waiver before your first swim! You can either print this out and bring it to your first appointment or we will supply one for you to sign upon your arrival.
Pricing
Swimming Lessons
Swimming lessons are for dogs who either do not know how to swim, have never swam before, or need to build some confidence swimming. We also offer canine conditioning swims for dogs who are proficient swimmers (think of it as a cardio workout in the water!). Each lesson is done with a swim coach in the pool with your dog.
30 minute session: $50
Dock Diving Lessons
Dock diving is a fun activity to do with your dog! You can do it just for fun or even compete in a number of venues with your dog. During dock diving lessons you will work with a trainer to help you improve upon whatever your goal is with your dog; whether that is just learning to jump off the dock, toy tracking, pop drills, improving throwing, EV/AR lessons, SR/HD speed swim drills, etc.
30 minute session: $50
Pool Rentals
You must schedule an initial lesson before you can schedule a rental. Active dock diving competitors or previous pool rental or lesson clients can schedule rentals. We had too many people not following the pool rules last year on their rentals. For the initial lesson an instructor does not need to go in the pool or on the dock with you, but they need to be present to go over all the rules with you and ensure they are being followed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Pool rentals can be used for any dog that knows how to swim and/or dock dive and you just want to rent the dock and pool with your dog(s). You will not have a swim instructor or trainer guiding you, but someone will be at the building if you need anything.
Note: If you want to go in the pool with your dog you need to schedule a lesson, due to safety/insurance you need an instructor present for you to enter the pool. Currently our HD/SR rigs are only available for lessons.
